Wynell King O'Hair, 83, of Dallas, GA formerly of Albany, GA died Friday, December 4, 2015 at her daughter's residence in Dallas, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Cook will officiate.
Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Sale City, GA, Mrs. O'Hair grew up in Albany, GA and lived there until her graduation from Albany High School. She married Royce J. O'Hair and they moved to Tallahassee, FL in 1951. She and Royce followed his occupation until his retirement and they returned to Albany, GA in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Lee King and Lillie Emily Baker King, two sisters, Lavonia K. Cook, Marylynn Vocino and a brother, Jimmy L. King. She was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Johnston Thornton and her husband, Bob, Dallas, GA, a brother, Harlow L. King and his wife Jean, Dallas, GA, a sister, Delores K. Ledbetter and her husband Loye, Dawsonville, GA three grandchildren, Jayme Wallin and her husband Jeremy, Dallas, GA, Jenee Gibson and her husband John and Rob Johnston and his wife Rebecca all of Acworth, GA, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at Mathews Funeral Home.
