Wilmer Dyvone Forehand

Wilmer Dyvone Forehand, 62, of Tallahassee, FL formerly of Worth Co., GA died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Thundering Springs Cemetery, Lee County, GA. Dr. Gary Hadden will officiate.

Born in Blakely, GA, Mr. Forehand had resided in Tallahassee, FL for the past three years moving from Worth Co., GA. Before ill health he was a heavy equipment operator with Conyers Construction Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer O. Forehand and Virgie Lee Price Forehand and his wife, Laverne Parrish Forehand.

Survivors include two daughters, Christina Orr, Tallahassee, FL, Kimberly Parrish, Sylvester, GA, four sons, Wilmer D. Forehand, Jr., Albany, GA, Anthony D. Forehand, Sylvester, GA, Timothy Forehand, Albany, GA, Richard Allen Forehand, Pelham, GA, a sister, Diane Forehand, Slidell, LA, a niece, Sherri Johnson, Albany, GA, and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
