Wilma Jean Potter

Wilma Jean Potter, 86, of Leesburg, GA died Monday March 23, 2015 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Slappey will officiate. Graveside interment services will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Moberly, MO.

Born in Moberly, MO, Mrs. Potter had resided in Leesburg, GA since 1993 moving from Sullivan, IL. She was a homemaker and a member of Kinchafoonee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilford Gene Leathers.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas R. Leathers (Sandy), Toutle, WA, Paul Potter, Jr., Bethany, IL, two daughters, Donna Mae Mathis (Butch), Leesburg, GA and Paula Jean Neatherly (Rob) Sullivan, IL, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home and will also have a visitation on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Million-Taylor Funeral Home, 302 S. Williams St., Moberly, MO, 65270.
