Wilma L. Brannen

Wilma L. Brannen, 78, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Hill will officiate. Committal services will be held at Lower Lott's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Register, GA on Saturday at 2:00 PM.

A native of Register, GA, born to the late Johnny Oscar Lott and Nettie Lott. Mrs. Brannen moved from Savannah, GA to Albany, GA in 1958. She was the former manager of Davis Bros Cafeteria on Oglethorpe and retired as the cafeteria manager at Coats and Clarks after many years. Mrs. Brannen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lester Brannen.

Survivors include two sons, Norman Brannen and his wife, Pat of Dawson, Ga. and Donald Brannen and his wife, Jan of Orange Park, FL, a sister, Nokoleta Newman of Bloomingdale, GA, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
