Willliam Davis Lanier

William Davis Lanier left this world for his heavenly home on Saturday, April 28, 2018. A celebration of Bill's life will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sherwood Baptist Church, 2201 Whispering Pines Rd. Albany, GA. Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by his memorial service at 11:00 am.

Born on January 29, 1959, Bill was native of Albany, GA. He graduated from Deerfield and later from Florida State University with a BS in Computer Science, and a MS in Computer Science from Georgia Southwestern University. Bill loved his family and friends, Sherwood Baptist Church, music, art and the study of God’s Word.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by Beccy, his wife of thirty-one years and their sons Caleb, Seth, and Micah. Bill’s memory will be cherished by his mother, Dorothy (Dale) Gay, brother, Jeff (Lisa) Lanier, sisters Faith (Paul) Malone, Leigh Anne (Curt) Bjerregaard, and Paige (Chris) Maddox. Bill was also blessed with his uncle Donnie Lanier, and a large circle of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Bill was predeceased by his father Brad Lanier.
