Willie Mae Tennille, 72, of Albany, GA died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Beacon Baptist Church. Rev. Reagan Marsh and Rev. Fred Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Ashburn, GA Mrs. Tennille had resided in Albany most of her adult life. She was employed with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for thirty eight years as an emergency room registrar. She was a charter member of Beacon Baptist Church and taught the pre-k Sunday school class. Mrs. Tennille was preceded in death by her husband Mack Calvin Tennille.
Survivors include a daughter Elaine (Stan) Courter of Kingston, GA., a son Quinton James (Diane Boyle) Fellows of Sumner, GA., six grandchildren, John Boyle IV of Winterpark, FL, Jason Fellows and Chris Fellows both of Minnesota, Michelle Fellows Deason of Arkansas, Kenneth Courter IV of Kingston, GA., Robert Courter both of Acworth, GA one sister Mary Lee Tennille and her son Scott of Albany, GA and a brother Edward Junior (Debbie) Oliver of Albany, GA.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00AM until funeral hour at Beacon Baptist Church.
