Willie Ralph Cravey

Willie Ralph Cravey, 78, of Albany, Georgia died Thursday, March 20, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Minister Charles Harris will officiate. Entombment will follow in Crown Hill Mausoleum.

Born in Moultrie, GA, Mr. Cravey was a graduate of Moultrie High School was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the US Airforce after twenty years of service as a Master Sgt. And served as Post Commander for the America Legion Post # 30, Albany, GA for two years.

Mr. Cravey moved to Albany, GA in 1980 from Abilene, TX. Mr. Cravey joined DoLee Rentals  and served as their property inspector until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a beloved Husband, Father and Papa.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Beasley Cravey, Albany, GA, two daughters, Tammy Cravey Moore (Don), Albany, GA, Teresa Cravey Summers (John), Leesburg, GA, a brother, James Edward Cravey (Vicki), Moultrie, GA, two sisters, Jean Cravey Tillman (Frank), Albany, Ga, Patsy Cravey Carter (Tidwell), Douglas, GA, four grandchildren, Justin Moore (Katie Dean), Bryan Moore (Kayla), Jordan Summers, Ty Summers, a great-granddaughter, Coralie Moore and a number of nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
