William (Bill) N. Price

William N. (Bill) Price, 79, of Albany, GA died Monday, February 17, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Turner, Rev. Noah Phillips, and Rev. Perry Lamey will officiate. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum.
Born in Calhoun County, GA, to the late James N. and Susie Musgrove Price, grew up in Arlington, GA and attended Baker County Schools. Mr. Price moved to Albany, GA in 1951 and was employed with and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member and Past President of the Letter Carriers Union and was the first Chairman of the Board of the Postal Credit Union. Mr. Price served in the GA National Guard. He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ila Sue (Sissy) Price, sisters, Martha Price, Jane Mansfield, and Frances Peterson and a brother, Buddy Price.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Price, a son, Scott Price and his wife, Yonnie, and a daughter, Katie Price all of Albany, GA, a sister, Joyce Harrell and her husband, Bruce of Sylvester, GA, five grandchildren, Mori White of Albany, GA, Kayla Price, of Lee County, GA, Teddy Price and his wife, Lauren of Milford, TN, Ila Price, and Rebecca Price both of Albany, GA and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Scott and Yonnie Price, 4111 Blue Springs Road, Albany, GA 31721.
