William P. Wilson, IV

William P. (Wild Bill) Wilson, IV, 71, of Camilla, GA formerly Putney, GA, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Putney. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Rev. Joe Carr will officiate.

Born in Muskegon, MI, Mr. Wilson had resided in Putney, GA since 1973 moving from Jackson, MS. He was retired from insurance sales and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Putney. Mr. Wilson loved his family, his church, everybody he met and the LSU Tigers He was preceded in death by his parents, William P. Wilson, III and Mary Elizabeth Arntson Wilson, a brother, Todd Wilson and a sister Betty Jane Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Logan Wilson, Camilla, GA, a son, William P. (Bill) Wilson, V (Cindy), Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Jennifer Ann Wilson (Doug), Grayson, GA, a brother, Jimmy Wilson (Brenda), Baton Rouge, LA, two sisters, Marcy Rice (Charlie), Clinton, MS, Julie Collins (Jim), Charlotte, NC and a grandson, Chase Wilson, Leesburg, GA and many nieces and nephews.
