William (Bill) Benjamin Vaughan, III

William B. (Bill) Vaughan, III, 57, of Lee County, GA, died January 22, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A private service will be held.

A native of Americus, GA, Mr. Vaughan grew up in Albany, GA and attended public schools and Albany Area Technical College. He lived in Atlanta, GA for many years before returning to Lee County, GA seven years ago. He was a Baptist by faith, was employed with Industrial Manufacturing as a manager and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Hartsfield Vaughan of Albany, GA, a daughter, Rachel Fisher and her husband, Wes of Nashville, TN, his mother, Agnes Carroll and her husband, Jim of Sasser, GA, a sister, Rhonda Lambert and her husband, Leon of Albany, GA, two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Vaughan, Jr. and a sister, Karen Bacon.
