William “Jack” Howard, 63, of Sylvester, GA died Friday, September 22, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced. Mr. Howard was born on November 29, 1953 in Newnan, GA to the late Jack Stewart and Eloise Butts Howard. He was raised in Manchester, GA. and lived in Sylvester, GA for the past 35 years. Jack was a retired Paramedic with Dougherty County EMS. He was a graduate of Flint River Academy in Woodbury, GA and Darton College. In the early 1980’s, Mr. Howard bravely served the Cordele and Albany Police Departments before becoming a Paramedic where he proudly served Dougherty and Worth Counties. He was a member of the Manchester Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Goff Howard, Sylvester, GA, daughters, Leigh Anne Moore (Joe), Port Wentworth, GA, Jaclyn Price (Britt), Sylvester, GA, three grandchildren, Haley Lynn Cobb, Kendahl Rayne Price, Chandler Brady Price, and close cousins, Barbara Ann Halliday (Bob), Augusta, GA and Roy Butts, Tyrone, GA, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
