William Larry Hagan

William Larry Hagan, 79, of Dawson, GA passed away Sunday, August 20,2023 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Parrott City Cemetery, Parrott, GA. Rev. Richard (Dick) Gill will officiate.

Larry was born on December 4, 1943 near Troy, AL to the late Lizzie Floyd Hagan and William Frank Hagan. He retired from the railroad in the early 2000's and worked part-time for Pentahope Farms for several years. Larry loved Alabama football and could be found in front of a TV rooting for his favorite team on Saturdays and enjoyed camping and fishing with his family.

Survivors include his wife of twenty four years, Joyce Hagan, children, Nancy Hagan Johnson, Lori Castleberry and Billy Hagan all of Leesburg, GA, step-children, Hilda Duckworth, Cordele, GA, Douglas Holcombe, Chrysler, AL, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends following the services at the graveside.
