William H. (Bill) Williams, Jr.

William Hillman (Bill) Williams, Jr. 64, of Leesburg, GA died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 15, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ritchie Marbury and Mr. Steve Hall will officiate.

Interment will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Baldwin Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, GA. Born in Louisiana, Bill had resided in Albany, GA most all of his life and moved to Leesburg, GA in 2000. He was a graduate of Albany High School and Valdosta State University. He was a CPA in the firm of Garland, Williams and Associates, a current Lee County Commissioner representing the Redbone District and was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hillman Williams, Sr. and Arva Joy Ward Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Sharron Brannan Murphy Williams, Leesburg, GA, two brothers, Jerry Williams (Wendy), Tarzana, CA, Dave Williams, Cave Springs, GA, a sister, Gail Iverson (Dan), Dacula, GA , two step-sons, Shaun Murphy (USAF), Aurora, CO, Ryan Murphy, Aurora, CO, two step grandchildren, Michaela Murphy and Hayden Murphy, fifteen nieces and nephews and beloved pet, Dillan.
