William Britton Freeman

William Britton Freeman, 87, of Lee County, GA died Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church. Rev. Bruce Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens.

Mr. Freeman was born in Colquitt Co., Georgia has resided in Albany, GA and Lee County, GA since 1946. He was the retired manager of the Arctic Bear Restaurant and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill Freeman (Debbie), Lee Co., GA, three sisters, Jewell Harris, Albany, GA, Julia Phillips (Vernon), Lawton, OK, Alice Ramsey (Bruce), Albany, GA, three grandchildren, Michelle Guerra (David), Albany, GA, Britt Freeman (Adrianne) and Brandon Freeman all of Athens, GA and four great-grandchildren, Parker Guerra, Nathan Guerra, Emery Freeman and Mirabelle Freeman.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at New Hope Baptist Church.
