William Edward (Eddie) Coleman, 57, of Lee Co., GA, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Philema Road Baptist Church. Pastor Casey Bradford and Pastor Johnny White will officiate. Interment will follow in Thundering Springs Cemetery.
Born in Albany, GA, Eddie had resided in Lee Co., GA all of his life. He was a 1975 graduate of Lee County High School, a member of the Southwest Georgia Shooter's Association, served as Corporal with the Georgia State Defense Force from 2003 until 2010 and was the project superintendent with Webco Electrical Construction and Design. He taught youth Sunday School at Philema Road Baptist Church where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his father, William Murry Coleman and his step-father, Henry Leonard Casey.
He was a very rich man........in faith, family and friends. He was a best friend and mentor to many.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Fulmer Coleman, two daughters, Melissa Coleman Griffin and her husband Jason, Leslie Coleman Knight and her husband Jodie, his mother, Margie Lokey Coleman Casey, two sisters, Selina Coleman Stephenson and her husband Jimmy, Denise Coleman Schmidt and her husband Joey all of Lee Co., GA, step-brother, Allan Casey and his wife Jan, Worth Co., GA, three grandchildren, Andrew Carlton Knight, Olivia Claire Brown and Everly Ann Griffin, nephews, Brandon Schmidt, Lee Co., GA, Willie Schmidt, Mitchell Co., GA, Luke Smith and John Smith both of Lee Co., GA and Brian Casey, Tift Co., GA. and his "adopted" sons, Cary Murray and Joe Norris.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Philema Road Baptist Church.
