William Fred (Bill) Clark

William Fred (Bill) Clark, 78, of Sylvester, GA, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Willis will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle, GA.

A native of Rochelle, GA, Mr. Clark had resided in Sylvester since 1998 moving from Dougherty Co., GA. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army, a retired pecan farmer and was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Curtis Clark of Sylvester, GA, Tony Clark and his wife, Rhonda of Leesburg, GA and Wayne Clark of Atlanta, GA, a brother, Thomas Wyatt Clark, Rochelle, GA, two sisters, Ann Parnell, Pembroke, GA, Naomi Force, Naples, FL, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The deacons of Mercedes Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
