Wanda Bruner Andrews

Wanda Bruner Andrews, 74, of Albany, GA, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Debbie Cone will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Born in Blakely, GA, Mrs. Andrews grew up in Albany. She was a 1960 graduate of Albany High School. She married her high school sweetheart in 1962. After living for many years in Raleigh, NC, Wanda and Jack moved back to Albany in May. She was a member of Soapstone United Methodist Church in Raleigh prior to relocating to Albany. She was a loving wife and mother to her family, a meticulous homemaker and compassionate friend to many before a lengthy illness with Parkinson's dampened her loving and caring spirit. She was preceded in death by her father, James Bruner.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Andrews of Albany, GA, a daughter, Laura (John) Hutchison of Raleigh, NC, a son, David Andrews of Raleigh, NC, her mother, Evelyn Bruner of Albany, GA, her grandchildren, Erin Hutchison and Jackson Hutchison both of Raleigh, NC, a brother, Jimmy (Pam) Bruner of Albany, GA, a niece, Claudia Bruner of Milledgeville, GA, and a nephew, James Bruner of Decatur, GA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home
