Walter Ernest Sheppard, Jr

Walter Ernest Sheppard, Jr, 74, of Albany, GA passed away at his residence Monday August 30, 2015. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Crown Hill Cemetery. Ross Powell will officiate.

A native of Sandersville, GA, Walter had spent the last 22 years of his life in Albany with his wife Mary Frances (Fran) Sheppard. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Julia Stanley and Walter E, Sheppard, Sr.

Survivors include three children, Cindy Parrish and her husband Boone of Fountain FL, Johnny Sheppard of Quincy FL, Eugene Nelson and his wife Candy of Panama City FL. Six step-children, Scott Harrell of Blakely, GA Trey Harrell and his wife Alicia of Blakely, GA, Steven Harrell and his wife Becky of Albany, GA, Tonya Rich of Dothan, AL, Jay Etherton and his wife Susan of Albany, GA, Darlene Palmer and her husband Jimmy of Knoxville, TN. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many special friends also survive.

The family will receive friends following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
