Wallace Bruce Harrell

Wallace Bruce (Wally) Harrell, 59, of Pensacola, FL formerly of Albany, GA died Saturday. February 28, 2015 in Pensacola, FL. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home, Albany, GA with military honors. Rev. Tommy Lowery will officiate.

Wally was born on August 7, 1955 in Cheyenne, WY and grew up in Albany, GA and had resided in Pensacola, FL for the past year. He was a graduate of Dougherty High School in 1972. He retired from the Air Force after twenty years as a Master Sargent. He was currently working as an IT Specialist for Veteran's Affairs and enjoyed golfing, carpentry and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Faulkner Harrell, Pensacola, FL, two sons, Jim Harrell (Acacia) and Jason Harrell all of New York, New York, the mother of his children, Linda Courtney, Rome, GA, his parents, Bruce and Joyce Harrell, Poulan, GA, Sue and Lester Butsch, Pensacola, FL, a brother, Doug Harrell, Pensacola, FL, four sisters, Donna Ingram and Joy Knighton (Joe) all of Albany, GA, Kaki Leidecker, Ponte Vedra Beach FL, Dawn Turner, Poulan, GA, two grandchildren, Lennox T. Harrell and Beckett T. Harrell both of New York, New York, seven nieces and nephews and four great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
