W. Larry Dudley

W. Larry Dudley, 64, of Sevierville, TN formerly of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Marshall will officiate. Interment will follow at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, GA.

A native of Albany, GA, Larry was born to the late Richard Lee Dudley and Margaret Izora Dudley. He graduated from Albany High School in 1968, he attended Albany Junior College and was a United States Navy Veteran. Larry was an engineer with North Folk Southern Railroad and moved from Leesburg, GA to Sevierville, TN in 1998 where he was employed with G & O Railroad as General Manager until his retirement.

Larry was a member of Seymour Community Church and loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Sizemore Dudley of Sevierville, TN, a son, Chris Dudley and his wife, Teresa of Knoxville, TN, a daughter, Jerri Culbertson of Sevierville, TN, a brother, Rickey Dudley and his wife, Freda, a sister, Janice Pinson and her husband, Harold all of Leesburg, GA, and five grandchildren, Blake Forbes, U.S. Navy, Cody Roach of Knoxville, TN, Michael Landrum, Jr. of Leesburg, GA, Christian Dudley of Knoxville, TN and Sarah Skidmore of Middlesborough, KY.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Rickey and Freda Dudley, 835 Lovers Lane Road, Albany, GA, 31763.
