Virginia Vera Hatcher

Virginia Vera Hatcher, 79, of 2000 Oakhaven Dr., Albany, GA died May 11, 2011 at the Lillian G. Carter Health and Rehabilitation Center in Plains, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Damon Fountain and Dr. Ronald R. Baxley will officiate.

A native of Blakely, GA, Mrs. Hatcher had resided in Albany, GA since 1966 moving from Bainbridge, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon Hatcher of Albany, GA, four sons, Ronnie (Faye) Hatcher of Leslie, GA, Erwin (Kimmie) Hatcher of Albany, GA and Lamar (Denise) Hatcher and Glenn (Becky) Hatcher all of Lee County, GA and one daughter, Beverly Lightfoot of Lee County, GA, a sister-in-law, Julia Mae Boyd of Bainbridge, GA, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
