Virgil Corley Bridges

Virgil Corley Bridges, 40, of Lee Co., GA died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Four Counties Health and Rehab. in Richland, GA. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Dawson, GA. Rev. Brian Johnson will officiate.

Mr. Bridges was born in Albany, GA and had resided in Dawson, GA before moving to Lee Co., GA in 1994. He was an electronic technician employed with Muzak, LLC before his illness. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his father, Bill Bridges and a brother, Jonathan Bridges.

Survivors include his wife, Jodie Barfield, two daughters, Jessica Lee Bridges and Morgan Lynn Bridges all of Lee Co., GA, his mother, Dianne Kirkland Bridges, Dawson, GA, three brothers, ChucK McConnell, Columbus, GA, Roger McConnell, Lee Co., GA and Ricky McConnell, Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends at Calvary Baptist Church following the services.
