Vincent Joseph Rush, Jr.

Mr. Vincent “Vinny” Joseph Rush, Jr. 64 of Albany, GA., died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The American Legion Post #30, 2916 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31721.

Mr. Rush was born May 31, 1957 in Ft. Montgomery, NY, son of Vincent Joseph Rush, Sr. and the late Anne Marie Colleluore Rush. He was retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant. He also worked in the IT Department with Log Com at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 30 in Albany, GA. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and softball. He was Catholic by faith.

Mr. Rush is survived by his wife Kathleen Rush of Albany, GA, his father Vincent Joseph Rush, Sr. of Ft. Montgomery, NY, his brother John Edward Rush of Highland Falls, NY. His sisters Debbie Armstrong (Kevin) of Stony Point , NY, Kathy Muller (Moe) of Ft. Montgomery, NY and Helen Chillingsworth of Port St. Lucie, FL. and numerous nieces and nephews.
