Vernon Levoyd Musgrove Jr.

Vernon “Bubba” Musgrove, Jr., 65, of Newton, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at his home. There will be no services held at this time.

Born  in Camilla, Mr. Musgrove retired from the City of Camilla as the Superintendent of the Electrical Department and was a volunteer fireman with the Newton Fire Department. He also previously with volunteer Baker County Fire Department.  Bubba was preceded in death by mother, Lottie "Rita" Kennington. 

Survivors include his wife, Doris Lawton Musgrove, Newton, son, Vernon L. Musgrove, III, ( Jamie) Lee County, grandchildren, Evelyn Ann Smith, Khylee Cloud, Arbor Musgrove, Arden Musgrove, Gentry Musgrove, step-son, Michael Smith, Donaldsonville, brother, Allan Musgrove (Jody), Newton, sister, Jenny Shultz (Tony), Leesburg, step-sisters, Tillie Phillips, Lynne Kennington Martin, both of Texas, beloved aunts, Myrtle Herft (Noelle), Yorba Linda, CA, Jean Bergman (Jay), Newport, NC.
