Vera Shipley Spraggins

Vera Shipley Spraggins, 59, of Leesburg, GA died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church of Lee Co. Rev. Mark Spraggins and Rev. Keith Travis will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Vera was a native of Worth County, Ga and had lived in the Albany/Leesburg area for the last 34 years. She was employed at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for the past 36 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Lee Co and was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Shipley and Lucille Brooks Shipley and a brother, Steve Shipley.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Spraggins, Leesburg, Ga, two daughters, Savannah Spraggins, Albany, GA and Kiley Spraggins, Leesburg, GA, two sisters, Lynne Shipley, Poulan, GA and Jane S. Hausman, Reidsville, GA. And several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Friendship Baptist Church of Lee Co. 963 Hwy 32 West, Leesburg, Ga.
