V. Gail Paul Church

V. Gail Paul Church, 74, of Leesburg, GA died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Dr. Todd Sullen will officiate. Interment will follow in New Light Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun Co., GA. Born in Leary, GA, Mrs. Church attended school in Edison and then the Piedmont School of Nursing in Atlanta. She worked at Egleston Children’s Hospital for three years, Dekalb General Hospital for thirty years then at Phoebe Putney for ten years before retiring in 2012. She enjoyed quilting and sewing with her sisters and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Mrs. Church was a loving wife for forty-eight years to the love of her life Robert Church. Survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Leen Paul Hunt (Jimmy) and Kay Lee (Fred) all of Leary, GA and a number of nieces and nephews. Those desiring may make memorials in memory of V.
