Troy Ladon “Don” Brumbley,71, of Albany, GA, died June 25, 2023 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Pelham City Cemetery. Rev. A.B. Stroud will officiate.
Don was born in Pelham, GA on September 19, 1951 to the late Troy Benjamin and Myrtle Henrietta Law. He grew up in Albany and lived there all of his life. Don was a paint and body man and worked for R & R Paint and Body of Sylvester, GA.
He was a very talented musician and had two bands, The Combination Band and The Renegade Band and was known for his Marty Robbins Songs. Don was also a dirt track race car driver, a dang good one and his car # was 5D. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Sizemore. Survivors include his wife, Kay Brumbley, his children, Crystal Davis (Quinn Hancock), Jason (Amber) Woodward, Kelly (Steve) Corley and Stacy (Adam) Simmons, his grandchildren, Olivia Cook, Kendall Cook, Hadley Davis, Brody Davis, Maggie Hancock, Braelin Woodward, Brooklyn (Austin) Rouse, Branson (Tyler) Goff, Davis (Madison) Corley, Breanna Simmons, Everly Simmons and Dorothy (Dakota) Taylor and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at their residence.
