Travis A. "Butch" Miller, Jr.

Travis A. “Butch” Miller, Jr, 73, of Dawson, GA, died November 1, 2024 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Angie Gillis will officiate.

Travis was born on October 30, 1951 to Travis A. and Martha Miller, Sr in Dawson, GA. He grew up there and graduated from Terrell County High School. He was a member of Raines Memorial Baptist Church, a self-employed Carpenter and had been employed with Dawson Health and Rehabilitation for many years. Travis enjoyed tinkering with cars and watching racing. In addition to parents, Travis was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Shealy.

Survivors include his sisters, Patrcia (Donnie) Turner of Oglethorpe, GA and Kim Allegood of Moultrie, GA, his niece and nephew, Angie (Jay) Gillis of Macon, GA and Brian Turner of Leslie, GA and five great nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
