Travis Tyler Bowles

Travis Tyler Bowles, 30, of Dawson, GA passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Hodges will officiate.

Born in Albany, GA, Travis enjoyed the outdoors, either fishing or hunting, being involved with bird dog training, guiding hunts and working with Piney Creek Plantation and currently being employed with Calhoun Construction as a fiber optics cable installer. He was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Hugh Bowles and maternal grandfather, Rev. Walter Kenney.

Survivors include his children, Hayzlie Bowles, Addylie Bowles and Beckett Thompson, his parents, Steve and Wanda Bowles, Dawson, GA, siblings, Jason Alan Bowles, Terrell Co., GA, Shannon Marie Chapman (Rusty), Cuthbert, GA, maternal grandmother, Thelma June Kenney, Kinston, AL, paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Dolores Bowles, Albany, GA, and his nieces Karley and Kaitlyn Chapman.

The family will receive friends following the services at Mathews Funeral Home.
