Tracy Marie Tumlin

Tracy Marie Tumlin,48, of Albany, GA., died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Richie Marbury and Mr. Jimmy Tumlin will officiate.

A native of Vidalia, GA., Tracy was a graduate of Westover High School and attended Albany Junior College. Ms. Tumlin was a chef and traveled around cooking at various places. She loved to cook and served last as chef at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. She had a deep love for the Chef's Association and was of the Baptist faith. Tracy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Theo and Bessie Giles, Eddie and Juanita Tumlin, and Anne Curles and an Uncle Jerry Folmar.

Survivors include her mother, Jan Weathersby (John) of Lee County, GA, her father Jimmy Tumlin (Hope) of Albany, GA., her brothers, Layne Tumlin and Matt Weathersby both of Lee County, GA., her sisters, Hope Leigh Mathews of Albany, GA., Angel Hendricks (Johnny) , of Newton, GA., and Jennifer Romano (Tony) of Atlanta, GA., and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
