Tonya Lynn Morris

Tonya Lynn Morris of Leesburg, GA., died Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Tonya was born in Dawson, GA to the late John and Sandra Morris. She was a loving and caring person, who never met a stranger. Tonya loved people and was a good-hearted person. 

She is survived by her children, Melissa Posey, William Avery and Justin Avery, her grandchildren, Khole Posey, Jennifer Posey, Larry Posey, Nicole Avery, Alyssa Avery, Phoebe Avery and Devan Avery, her brother John Morris, Jr. and two sisters, Sissy and Denise.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
