Tony C. Stanton

Tony Charles Stanton, 70, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at his residence. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye and Billy Lillis will officiate.

A native of Anderson, IN, born to Charles R. and Marciel B. Stanton, Mr. Stanton moved to Albany, GA in 1978. He was a computer liaison with Delco Remy and worked with the Delphi Battery Plant in Fitzgerald for ten years before he retired. He was an avid golfer and a member of Grand Island County Club.

Survivors include two daughters Elizabeth Elaine (Lainie) Stanton of Leesburg, GA, Tresha Senn and her husband Johnny of Sylvester, GA, two sisters, Janie Kennerk, Kay Albright both of Ft. Wayne, IN, five grandchildren Colton Stanton and Emily Eppler both of Leesburg, GA, Latisha Palmer and Dewey Charles Anderson both of Sylvester, GA, Johnny Senn of Albany, GA, and two great-grandchildren Georgianna and Aiden.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
