Tina Renee Hanners

Tina Renee Whitaker Hanners, 56, of Albany, GA., died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her residence. Private memorial services will be held.

A native of Bremerton, WA., Tina has lived in Albany most of her life as well as in Crestview, FL. Mrs. Hanners was a loyal friend to many and loved helping those in need. She was an adventurous and energetic person who loved to meet people. Tina was a real estate agent with Century 21 and earned her Master’s Degree from Albany State University. She was awarded the title of Honorary Commander of the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida were she had many adventures. Mrs. Hanners was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crestview, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lawana Whitaker and her husband, James Hanners.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Hanners, of Tallahassee, FL., and Alex Hanners, of Crestview, FL., her father Hodges Whitaker, her siblings Rusty Whitaker and his wife Annell, Kathy Whitaker, Cindy Dominey and Christie Pare, a nephew, Anthony Bates and a niece, Datelyn Whitaker.
