Tilford Epps

Tilford Epps, 73, of Hiram formerly of Albany, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.

His funeral service will be Thursday 3 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery.  Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.  

A native of Quitman, Mr. Epps spent most of his life in Albany.  He was retired form MCLB and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.  He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Elizabeth Epps, and his parents Harry and Lila McGee Epps. 

Survivors include his children, Tammy Lindsey, Worth County, Harold Epps (Pam), Mitchell County, Tilford Epps (Melissa),  Hiram, Tommy Driggers (Susan), Ruther Glen, VA, sister, Vivian Quick, Worth county, brothers, Ronnie Epps, Worth county, Junior Epps, Dougherty county, eleven grandchildren, Kaylan, Dakota, Tristen, Dylan, Gavin, Kalista, Aedan, Austin, Taylor, Breanna and Justin and three great-grandchildren, Kason, Grayson, Sophie and Tommy. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
