Thomas L. Marez

Thomas Lucineo Marez, 86, of Albany, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at Wynfield Park Health & Rehabilitation. No formal memorial service will be held. Thomas was born in St. John’s, Az. He was the oldest of 4 children. He later moved to California to pursue a career in agriculture. He then went on to work for the U.S. Forestry Service. In his free time he enjoyed gardening and cooking with his late wife. His wife, Mary Hubble, preceded him in death. Survivors include his sister and two brothers in California, his stepson John Slaughter of Albany, GA., a stepdaughter Candice Hubbard of California and stepdaughter Jennifer Hurst of Folkston, GA, two granddaughters Brittney Hubbard of Boise, ID and Kristen Hubbard of California.
