Thomas Lamar Jordan

Thomas Lamar Jordan, 74, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Billy D. Hanna will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Blakely, GA, Mr. Jordan had resided in Albany, GA for the past fifty five years. He was retired from Allstate Insurance Company and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton Cortez (Jack) Jordan and Mary Pace Jordan Chandler, and two sisters, Dyanne Jordan Clinkscales and Janyce Jordan Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Seay Jordan, Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Paige Jordan Ingrum and Jay, Warner Robins, GA, a son, Bradley Jordan, Albany, GA, two brothers, LaDon Jordan, Blakely, GA, Billy Jordan (Barbara), Louisville, GA, two sisters, Judy Jordan Brank, Blakely, GA, Delores Jordan Baber (Jim), Crozet, VA, step-father, Homer L. Chandler, Blakey, GA and two grandchildren, Spencer Ingrum and Ainsley Jones.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
