Thomas Ellsworth Edwards

Thomas Ellsworth Edwards, 63, of Leesburg, GA, passed away October 20, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM. A private Inurnment will follow to Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Pastor Ed Eschmann will officiate.

Known to friends and family as Tom or Tommy, he was born in South Portland, ME on October 14, 1959 to the late William and Winnifred Edwards. He was an avid cook and prolific tinkerer. Tom was also a notoriously altruistic and selfless man who helped anyone to the extent he could. Tommy was fiercely proud of his only granddaughter Eleanor, to whom Tommy was known affectionately as “Grandy.”

Tommy is survived by his wife, Wendy Edwards of Leesburg, GA, his three sons, Matthew Edwards (Lindsay) of Littleton, MA, Nathaniel Edwards (Tuyet Van Vu) of Santa Ana, CA, and Alexander Edwards of Leesburg, GA, granddaughter Eleanor Edwards, and his siblings, Doug Edwards, Darryl Edwards, and Barbara Turner.
