Thelma Elizabeth Woodard

Thelma Elizabeth Woodard, 94, of Leesburg, GA died May 30, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 2, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at True Life Church of God. Rev. James Baggett and Rev. Bob Prince will officiate.

Born in Haralson County, GA, Mrs. Woodard resided in Moultrie before moving to the Albany area fifty eight years ago. She was formerly employed with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aid and was the owner of Woodard's Day Lilies for fifteen years. Mrs. Woodard was a member of the Day Lily Club and Key Club

Survivors include two sons Donald Glynn Woodard and his wife Nancy, of Lee County, GA and Billy Ray Woodard and his wife Carol, of Parkland, FL, a daughter, Mary Evelyn Sotack and her husband, William of Gainesville, GA, a sister, Beatrice Cumming of Blairsville, GA, thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at True Life Church of God.
