Terry Eugene McVey

Terry Eugene McVey, 62, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church sanctuary. Rev. Billy D. Hanna will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Fann Cemetery at Mother's Home Church; Colquitt, GA, Rev. Andy Merritt will officiate.
Mr. McVey was a native and lifelong resident of Miller Co., GA until moving to Albany, GA in 2008. He was a director with Mathews Funeral Home and enjoyed agriculture and carpentry. He was a member of the Pastor's Sunday School Class and First Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. McVey was preceded in death by his parents Odis and Mabel Middleton McVey and a brother David Edward McVey
Survivors include his wife, Rita McLendon McVey, a son, David Elliot McVey, two daughters, Celena McVey Anderson (Micah), Marcie McVey Boswell (Joshua), two brothers, Tommy McVey (Betty), LeDon McVey (Priscilla), five sisters, Gloria McVey Corbin (Richard), Janice McVey Brewer (Rodney), Verna McVey Christie (Ken), Patsy McVey Merritt (Andy), Glenda McVey Miller and three grandchildren, Uriah Anderson, Adalyn Anderson and Asher Boswell.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at First Free Will Baptist Church.
