Teresa Diane Smith

Teresa Diane Smith, 58, of Albany, GA, died October 31, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Lee Smith will officiate.

A native of Albany, GA and a lifelong resident of this area, Teresa graduated from Albany Technical College. She was a self-employed accountant and owned and operated Action Collection and was previously employed with Advance Tax. Teresa was a member of The Leesburg United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Smith and a granddaughter, Khloe Bailey.

Survivors include two sons, David M. (Cotton) Smith and his wife, Lauren and Matthew Scott Smith, and a daughter, Keri Lois Scott and her husband, Kevin all of Lee County, GA, two brothers, Donnie Bence and his wife, Camie and Ronald Bence and his wife, Kelly of Lee County, GA and eight grandchildren, Blaine, Casey, Cameron, Wesley, Kaitlyn, Ava, Kolton, Tatum and Wyatt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
