Teresa Holley Smith

Teresa Holley Smith, 62, of Doerun, GA, died October 24, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care in Moultrie, GA. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with visitation one hour before the service. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Teresa was a native of Albany, GA and was born to the late James O. and Carolyn Gay Holley. She lived in Albany all of her life before moving to Colquitt County. Teresa graduated from Albany High School and received her Nursing Degree and her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Darton College. She was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, was a paralegal and was employed with Westmoreland, Patterson and Mosley. Teresa enjoyed going to the beach and Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Smith.

Survivors include her son, Chad Rogers of Doerun, GA, three grandchildren, Matthew Rogers of Ocilla, GA, Ethan Rogers and McKenzie Rogers both of Leesburg, GA and one great-grandchild, Audrey Leanne Rogers.

The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
