Teresa Wilder Shipman, 49, of Albany, GA died Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Panama City Fl. A visitation service will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
Raised in Albany, Teresa attended St. Teresa's school and graduated from Westover High School in 1984. She was employed with Pruitt Health at Palmyra retirement home as a physical therapy coordinator. She loved watching football especially the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. She was of catholic faith and attended St. Teresa's Catholic Church. She will be remembered by her happy, fun-loving, free spirit.
Survivors include her companion of over thirty years and father of her children James Matthew Shipman of Albany, GA, children Chelsey "Dwayne" Mann of Baconton, GA, and Nick "Denita" Wilder of Kingsland, GA, her father John Wilder of Albany, GA, her mother Susan Wilder of Kingsland, GA, grandchildren Delilah Mann and BellaGrace Mann both of Baconton, GA, Taylor Wilder and Marley-Chevonne Wilder both of Kingsland, GA, two sisters Melissa Cook of Kingsland, GA, Jennifer Ballard of Worth County, GA, and a brother David Wilder of Bremen, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to The Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
