Ted Craft

Ted Craft, 76, of Shellman, GA died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Dawson, GA with Pastor Danny Craft and Pastor Jeff Henry officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Craft was born in Blakely, GA to the late Jim and Beulah Craft. He served in the U.S. Army and moved to Randolph County from Calhoun County in 1986. Mr. Craft was employed as a supervisor with Peerless Manufacturing for over twenty years and retired from D. C. Welding. Mr. Craft was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and the Minister of Music.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Craft of Shellman, GA, two daughters, Janice (Jeff) Henry of Albany, GA and Deborah (Jose) Palacio of Edison, GA, three sons, David (Cindy) Craft, Danny (Tammy) Craft, both of Dawson, GA, and Teddy (Janice) Craft of Edison, GA, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
