Sylvia Annette Thomas Murry, 80, of Americus, GA, formerly Albany, GA died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Perfect Care in Americus, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

Born in Luverne, AL, Mrs. Murry had resided in Albany, GA since 1957 and moved to Americus, GA six years ago. She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for a number of years and was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Thomas and Berta Brown Thomas and her husband, Billie Allan Murry.

Survivors include a son, Tim Murry and his wife Jacque, Savannah, GA, two daughters and their husbands, Lynn Murry Ruehl and David, Ringgold, GA, Connie Murry Downs and Gregg, Cobb, GA, four grandchildren, Katie Thompson and her husband, Manny, Rett Downs and his wife, Caitlin Reed Downs, Wes Downs, Keiser Ruehl and three great grandchild, Berkley Thompson, Brailee Thompson and Briggs Thompson.
