Sybil J. Hayes

Sybil Jeanette Hayes, 74, of Edison, GA, died Monday November 11, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye and Rev. Jackie Williams will officiate
A native of Baker County Mrs. Hayes and her husband James spent most of their married life in Albany, GA. She was a former member of Sunnyside Baptist church. Mrs. Hayes was owner/operator of Lollypop Lane daycare center.
She is survived by her husband James Hayes of Edison, GA, three sons James Michael (Abie) of Frederick, MD, Richard Craig Hayes of Atlanta, GA, and Ronald Greg (Candy) Hayes of Leesburg, GA, six grandchildren, three sisters, and five brothers.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Salvation Army.
