Susan Yates Thorne

Susan Yates Thorne, 50, of Leesburg, GA died Friday, August 12, 2011 at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 125 Century Road, Leesburg, GA.

A native of Moultrie, GA Susan had resided in Leesburg, GA since 1994 moving from Wilson, NC. She was the owner/operator of Leesburg Flower and Gift Shop and was a member of New Life Church of God and attended Lakeside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Brittany Thorne and Sawyer Thorne both of Leesburg, GA, her mother, Virginia Peak McConnell of Albany, a brother and his wife, Ferrell and Carmen Yates of Andersonville, GA, ex-husbands and special friends, Walter G. Thorne, Jr. of Leesburg, GA and Jochen Womack of Leesburg, GA.
