Susan Hasty Cook

Susan Hasty Cook, 68, of Albany, GA, died November 30, 2018. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Spears and Rev. Josh Copron will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Susan was born in Americus, GA to the Late Willard and Ruth Hasty. She grew up in Lee County, GA and graduated from Lee County High School. Susan lived her adult life in Albany and was employed with Loosier Furniture Co. and Farmers Furniture. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was attending Providence Church. Susan loved fishing, shopping, gardening and most of all her family. During her illness, she couldn’t wait to get better so she could be with other patients who were alone or without family because her family was always with her. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Cook of Albany, GA, her children, Kim (Ray) White of Lee County, GA, Kelly (Rhett) White of Albany, GA and Mandy (Gary) Milner of Bridgeboro, GA, her step-children, Camie (Donnie) Bence of Albany, GA and Rhonda (George) Reilly of Ashburn, VA, two sisters, Wanda Morris of Tallahassee, FL and Amy Hasty of Lee County, GA, eight grandchildren, Alex White, Austin White, Dallas White, Lacy White, Lindsey Milner, Ashley Milner, Brooke Milner and Blake Milner and four great-grandchildren, Paisley Smith, Guage White, Layla White and Cash White.
