Susan Alice Brooks

Susan Alice Brooks, 63, of Benevolence, GA, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bayou's (411 Philema Road, Albany, GA 31701)

Born in Meriden, CT, Susan moved to Albany in 1995. She was previously employed with Waterbury Telephone Company in CT and Cintas in Albany, GA. Susan was blessed with thoughtful friends, neighbors, family, and facebook friends. She was an avid animal lover and a big part of the biker community. Susan requested to be remembered with laughter and not tears. She was preceded in death by her husband Gardner Brooks and a half-brother Earl Raffles.

Survivors include her daughter Mary Ellen Middleton, Meriden, CT, step daughter Thaisa Crozier, Ft. Gaines, GA, sister-in-law Lois (Marty) McMahon, Ft. Myers, FL, a niece Renee Ware Cannady, Tifton, GA, and close friend of 30 years Kathy Cyr, Tifton, GA.
