Sue S. Dixon

Sue S. Dixon, 59, of Americus, GA, died August 16, 2012 at her residence. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday August 19, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Rev. Wendy Peacock will officiate.

A native of Americus, GA, Sue had resided in Macon Co., GA for a number of years before returning to Americus, GA thirty years ago. She was medical transcriptionist for a cardiologist group. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Street, Sr. and Martha Louise Jackson and a brother, Ricky Street.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Dixon, Americus, GA, a son and his wife, Linkoln and Robyn Dixon, Greenville, SC, two brothers, Dr. Luther Street, Jr., New Ulm, TX, Don Street, Dallas, TX, a sister, Linda Beaird, Leslie, GA, an aunt, Lois Devane, Americus, GA and three grandchildren, Noah Dixon, Chase Dixon and Lydia Dixon.
