Steven Michael Stewart

Steven "Pops" Michael Stewart, 65, of Albany, GA. Passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 16, 2014, at 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

Born in Peru, IN, on July 11, 1949, to the late Barbara Ingalls Wallace and Charles Thomas Stewart. Steve was a self-employed carpenter and attended Sunrise Tabernacle.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Patricia Stewart, two daughters: LaShawn Stewart of Albany, GA, and Barbie Stewart of CA, a son: Michael Stewart of Albany, GA, two grandsons: James Fryman and Jacob Fryman of Albany, GA, and a brother: Charles Stewart of OH.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 PM until 8:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
